Couleurs

In 1985, Mr. Dao Khanh Truong obtained a license from the Vietnamese
government to set up the Bung Sang School for blind children in his house
in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Mr. Dao, a blind musician, wanted to teach these children to play the
piano, guitar and drums so they can perform to make a living when
they grow up. To support them, Mr Dao had to performed in restaurants
and tune pianos.

In the past, Mr. Dao and his students used to survive by performing at birthday
parties and other events, but these opportunities are becoming rare.

Faced with such challenges, Mr. Dao and his students continue to find hope
and comfort in the music they play.
